ACTIVITIES AND EXTRACURRICULARS
PUBLIC SPEAKING
For the past four years, I've actively competed on my high school's debate team. My experience has given me a voice and confidence in my abilities. I've also enjoyed mentoring younger students while serving as a captain. In addition to critical thinking and analytical skills, I've gained immeasurable real-world awareness through research of the complex issues around me.
SERVICE
I learned the value of service early on by volunteering at food banks and donating to drives with my family. My passion for service has since grown into leadership of two nonprofits, SparkSTEM and Be the Light Youth Association. Seeing the tangible impact I've been able to make on the community around me has motivated me to pursue social impact in my academic and professional career.
ENTREPRENEURSHIP
Through my experience in science fair (personal projects), startup competitions, and coding, I've enjoyed the process of developing a product from idea generation to presentation. Through my college education, I hope to truly understand the process of innovation and how to make it predictable, scalable, and repeatable. I hope to combine my passion with service to eventually pursue social entrepreneurship.
